Slow going, Great progress

23 Aug

A page a week was probably too much to expect, at least in the beginning. That is, if I want each page to be any good.

Based on recommendations from my friend Dwight, and from a model sheets & turnarounds blog post on reMIND blog, I’ve been working on a character turnaround for an old man in the story. It’s looking good and made me realize how underdeveloped he looks in the first page I penciled.

I just noticed Dwight’s High Speed Waffle Man site, which reminds me posting images is likely to make this a lot more interesting. That could also explain why he didn’t email me back when I sent my first page to him. He looks busy.

And I thought he was just frustrated I’d ignored his advice about a character turnaround. Consider it done, my friend.
